Jomblang Cave is a vertical cave with a collapse doline type that is also a tourist attraction in Gunungkidul. This cave was formed due to the geological process of soil collapse along with the vegetation on it to the bottom of the earth that occurred thousands of years ago. This collapse formed a sinkhole or well which in Javanese is known as luweng. That is what makes it unique because in the cave there is a cave mouth area of about 50 metres, often called Luweng Jomblang. Jomblang Cave is located in Gunungkidul Regency, Yogyakarta.

Currently, Jomblang Cave is an ancient plant conservation site and developed into a special interest tourist spot which is managed by local residents or residents. Folklore
Apart from being a cave tourist destination and also an interesting photo spot, this cave has a folk story that has been passed down from generation to generation. It is said that during the colonial era, this cave was used by the Dutch to dispose of the bodies of suspected PKI members.
