Ijen Plateau Hiking Tour

Time Schedule :

04.00 am
Early wake up, have breakfast at the hotel.

05.00 am

Pick up at the hotel, start for tour by driving with our jeep to get the last parking on Ijen mountain for about 1hours & 15 Minutes. On the way, we could enjoy beautiful scenery of rice terracing field with its traditional manner of plaughing the soil with buffalos, many kinds of plantation such as clove, coffee, cinnamon and gmelina (a kind of teak wood). Afterward coming into the natural jungle with its habitats, many kinds of birds, monkey, etc.

06.30 am

Stop at Paltuding (the last parking of Ijen) and start to climb Mount Ijen by walking (trekking) for about 3 km up on the slippery pathway. We could enjoy the attraction of some porter whom picking the sulfure up on their shoulders. They are able to pick up the sulfure more than 65 kg.

08.00 am

Arrive on the summit of mount Ijen. from this spot, we could enjoy a very-very beautiful scenery of Ijen Crater with its eries blue and green water lake inside ( the biggest crater lake in java ) we will showed sulfur miner attraction whom carry the sulfur from the lake as well.

08.30 am
Back to the last parking down.

09.30 am
Get the jeep and back to the hotel via the same way as before. On the way back home, we can stop in some spots of the plantation for getting more information about the plants such as ( Cloves, Cinnamons, and gmelina )

11.00 am
Finish at the hotel.

End of service...

Note:

Pick up point for the above itinerary is in Banyuwangi area hotel, such us: Ijen Resort & Villas, Ketapang Indah Hotel, Mirah Hotel, etc.
For other hotels outside of Banyuwangi city, such as Kalibaru or Glenmore-, the time and price might be changed.
Conditions for tourists, climbers, and researchers

1. Tourists with state of health (physical and mental), have no history of asthma, heart disease and are required to show a health certificate from a doctor.
2. Tickets do not include insurance, all visitors are advised to have personal accident insurance.
3. If an accident occurs during climbing/visit and causes injury/death, it is personal responsibility and does not claim to the administrator of TWA Kawah Ijen.
4. Prepare personal security equipment (sepatu anti slip, jaket dingin, masker, hand sanitiser dll).
5. A ticket already paid cannot be changed on the day of climbing or cancelled/received.
6. By reading and checking the entire list of the mentioned terms, the visitor means agreeing to the terms and conditions that have been set.
