Overview
Mount Andong, standing at 1,726 meters above sea level, is a charming small mountain located in Magelang Regency, Central Java. Despite its modest height, the summit offers breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views of several majestic mountains, including Merapi, Merbabu, Sindoro, Sumbing, Prau, Ungaran, and Telomoyo. On a clear day, you can witness the stunning alignment of these peaks, creating an unforgettable trekking experience.
This soft trekking route is beginner-friendly and takes approximately one hour to reach the summit.

Trekking Itineraries
1. Soft Trekking Andong Mountain (Sunrise Tour)

Route: Sawit Trailhead
Itinerary:

01:00 – Depart from Yogyakarta to Magelang (Sawit Village, Ngablak, Magelang)
02:50 – Meet & greet with the local guide, followed by a short briefing
03:00 – Begin the soft trekking, with two stops (depending on your condition)
04:30 – Reach the summit of Mount Andong (1,726m ASL) and witness the spectacular sunrise and breathtaking views of Mount Merapi, Merbabu, Sindoro, Sumbing, and Slamet
06:00 – Descend from the peak
07:00 – Arrive back at basecamp
07:15 – Return to Yogyakarta
10:30 – Arrive at Yogyakarta, drop-off at your hotel or airport

2. Soft Trekking Andong Mountain (Day Tour – Non-Sunrise)
Route: Sawit Trailhead
Itinerary:

07:30 – Depart from Yogyakarta to Magelang (Sawit Village, Ngablak, Magelang)
09:30 – Meet & greet with the local guide, followed by a short briefing
09:30 – Begin the soft trekking, with two stops (depending on your condition)
11:00 – Reach the summit of Mount Andong (1,726m ASL) and enjoy the breathtaking mountain views
12:00 – Descend from the peak
13:00 – Arrive back at basecamp
13:30 – Return to Yogyakarta
15:30 – Arrive at Yogyakarta, drop-off at your hotel or airport (simple lunch provided en route)

Cancellation & Refund Policy – Mountain Hiking Package
To ensure smooth tour operations and proper trip arrangements, the following cancellation and refund policy applies:
• Cancellation 2 days before departure (H-2):
A refund of 90% of the total payment will be provided.
• Cancellation on the departure day (before leaving for Mount Andong):
A refund of 50% of the total payment will be provided.
• Cancellation after arriving at the mountain area / basecamp / hiking starting point:
Only 20% of the total payment can be refunded.
