Ratu Boko Temple offers a breathtaking sunset experience unlike any other. Perched on a hilltop royal complex, this ancient site rewards visitors with a panoramic view as the golden sun slowly sets, bathing the temple ruins in warm, glowing light. On clear days, the silhouette of Prambanan Temple can be seen in the distance, creating a truly magical atmosphere.

For the best sunset experience, we recommend arriving before 16:00. The ideal season is from May to October, when weather conditions are generally clear. Head directly to the main gate of Ratu Boko Temple, where the sunset aligns beautifully with the entrance, making it a perfect moment for photography.

Foreign student card holders receive a discount of IDR 125,000. This discount is not valid for domestic or KITAS students.
Children aged 0 to 2 years are free of charge.
Children aged 3 to 10 years pay IDR 85,000 for domestic or KITAS holders and IDR 340,000 for foreign visitors.
Valid KITAS holders are charged at domestic rates.
Please bring your Passport, Indonesian ID KTP, Student Card, or KITAS for verification at the site.

15:00 Pickup from Tugu Train Station or Yogyakarta hotel and transfer to Ratu Boko
16:00 Arrive at Ratu Boko Temple, ticket arrangement and site exploration
17:00 Enjoy the spectacular sunset with panoramic views
18:00 Depart Ratu Boko and return to Yogyakarta
19:00 Arrive at hotel and end of tour

Important Notes
Every Monday, Jogja city tour attractions such as Sonobudoyo Museum, Sultan Palace, Kereta Museum, and Water Castle are closed.
On Mondays, temple visits including Borobudur, Pawon, Mendut, and Prambanan are limited to the temple yard area only.
Borobudur Temple Entry Information
Daily visitor quota is 1,200 people.
Operating days are Tuesday to Sunday from 09:00 to 17:00 WIB.
There are 8 visitor sessions per day, each allowing 1 hour at the temple summit.
The final session runs from 16:00 to 17:00 WIB and all visitors must exit by 17:00 WIB.
